Our Commitment to Accessibility
Accessibility at Oomph Made
We’re committed to making our website and digital content accessible to all users. This page outlines the steps we’re taking to improve accessibility and how you can get in touch if you need support.
At Oomph Made, we are committed to making our digital platforms accessible and usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We are taking active steps to align with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA.
Compliance Status
The Oomph Made website is currently partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. While many core features and content types meet accessibility requirements, we are aware that additional improvements are needed in some areas to reach full compliance.
Areas for Improvement
As part of our ongoing accessibility work, we are reviewing and improving the following:
- Text Alternatives: Ensuring all images and media have meaningful alt text.
- Keyboard Navigation: Guaranteeing that all interactive elements can be accessed and operated by keyboard.
- Skip Navigation: Introducing a “Skip to Content” feature to enhance usability for screen reader and keyboard users.
- Semantic HTML & ARIA Attributes: Using appropriate HTML structure and accessibility enhancements across the site.
- PDF & Downloaded Materials: Improving document formatting so all brochures and guides are screen-reader friendly.
- Accessibility Statement: This is our first published statement, and we are working to improve transparency and documentation going forward.
